Our blog is back!  It has been a while since we have posted but we wanted to update our friends with what is going on at the Giraffe.  Season is here and our summer hours are in effect.  Monday through Wednesday we are open from 9 am until 5 pm.  We are open until 7 pm Thur-Sat, so after your day at the beach stop by and see us.  We are here on Sundays from noon until 5:00 pm.  We are looking forward to see our friends from last year so be sure to stop by and see us.  We have a lot of new treasures!

Our 2009 season has been great.  We are really enjoying visiting with all of our guests in town for  a relaxing, beach vacation.  If you are coming in to town please be sure to stop by and see us.  The Giraffe has gone through some changes in the last month.  We have consolidated, the Blue Mountain Beach store merchandise has been moved to the Watercolor store.  You still have two opportunities to get your hands on the perfect piece of decor or gift - The Blue Giraffe, Watercolor and www.thebluegiraffeon30a.com.  We are continuously adding new pieces to the store.  For your convenience, the website is growing as well!  The Watercolor store number is 850-231-5112 if you have any questions.

The Blue Giraffe welcomes all shoppers.  This shopper recently stopped in to see what The Blue Giraffe offered.  On this particular day we were offering honey roasted peanuts.  Needless to say this shopper came back the next day to see what the offers were and the best part is ... he brought a friend!  We love shoppers like this and believe he might become a regular.

Don't miss out on a great deal.  As a SPRING SPECIAL, the prices on our popular Magnolia Lane frames have been reduced by 20%.  This includes the 20x20 and 10x17.  In other news, we are getting ready for our spring breakers!  The store has many new pieces.  For all of you that only visit us through the website, we will try to get as many online as possible.  The gang at The Blue Giraffe wish you a wonderful week.

Brrr - It is a cold start to March in Florida!  We hope you are staying warm.  New items were added to the site today.  Please visit the "Misc" category to see the cards that our very own Jan is creating.  She uses sand and shells from the Gulf to make these.  Great "just because" idea!  Another great item added today is the color changing nightlight.  These are amazing  - We are going to try to get a video in the blog so you can see the changing of the colors.  Again, this is another creation by a local artist.  We are surrounded by talented artisans!
